12/17 Christmas Movie in the Park

On December 10, Pinson Christmas Movie in the Park will be Dr Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas with Jim Carrey. Snacks will be provided. Please feel free to bring a blanket, snacks, and lawn chairs and enjoy this Christmas Classic! The movie should start between 6:00-6:30.

Join us at Pinson Bicentennial Park on Friday, November 19th from 4 to 6 PM for an interactive Storywalk experience!
What is a Storywalk?
A StoryWalk is a fun, educational activity that places a children's story (literally a book taken apart) along a popular walking route in your community.
Our event will feature the book "Red Leaf, Yellow Leaf" by Lois Ehlert. Walk through the park & read the story together. We'll bring the story to life with stations for related crafts & activities

10/29 Library Event: Boo Bash at Bicentennial Park

Pinson Public Library & Pinson Parks & Recreation are proud to present Boo Bash at Bicentennial Park!
Join us on Friday, October 29th from 6 PM to 8 PM for family-friendly fall festival fun! There will be many activities, crafts, & candy for all ages. Be at the Amphitheater at 7 PM for the Costume Show! Everyone will have a chance to parade across the stage to show off their costume or you can sit in the audience to watch.
All ages are welcome. No registration is required.

10/9 Library Movie Night - Bicentennial Park

 Join us on Saturday, October 9th at dusk (around 6:30 PM) at Pinson Bicentennial Park to watch Happy Halloween, Scooby-Doo! We're partnering with Pinson Parks & Recreation to watch the movie in the outdoor amphitheater. There will be crafts, activities, & snacks available. The movie will start at approximately 6:30 PM, so arrive ahead of time to get settled.

This event will be held outside & can be affected by the weather, so please check with the library or on social media for updates.

12/7 Pinson Christmas Parade - Postponed until Thursday Dec 16

The City of Pinson Christmas parade will be held on Dec. 16th 2021 beginning at 6:30. Participants will arrive from 5:00 to 5:30 PM. Staging will occur at First Baptist Church on Spring Street and will end at Pinson Bicentenial Park for float judging and Tree Lighting! Don't miss this wonderful night of fun for the whole family! Please fill out the application. available at City Hall or under the forms and applications tab here at thecityofpinson.com to enter a float! The theme is How the Grinch Stole Christmas!
